Spring 1994 Saaremaa YWCA-YMCA was registered in Estonian business registry as non-profit association. In 1999 a new statute was written for the association which is still in effect. The association begun in Mustjala parish but has operated in multiple different locations in Western and Central Saaremaa. During the time the main focus has been on work with children and youth.
