1993 the Secretary General of YWCA-YMCA Estonia Üllar Kerde and the Secretary General of YWCA-YMCA Tallinn Ene Roos visited Mustjala primary school in Saarema and the headmaster Tiit Lind took first steps towards establishing the association in Saaremaa.
